Meet Sprite, a two year old Malamute cross Husky who is seeking his special forever home. Sprite was in foster care but unfortunately has had to come in to kennels as he was not getting along with the other dogs in the house. Sprite is visually impaired, he is long sighted, and doesn’t see things well close up, so he tended to be possessive with the other dogs over toys etc. He is however a lovely people dog, very loving and affectionate, Sprite likes nothing better than a cuddle, and will greet everyone with a kiss. He loves his food and treats, and his walks, and loves to run.
We feel that Sprite needs to be an only dog, where he can have lots of love and all the attention to himself, and would only rehome to a breed experienced owner, with a totally secure garden with 6′ fencing. Also due to Sprite’s size and vision we would not place him in a home with young children. Sprite has not been cat tested.
Sprite is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. If you have lots of love and patience and experience of these breeds please do get in touch, we have to say that all at kennels are smitten with this boy and would love to see him go to his new home very soon. Sprite’s ex-foster carer is a Veterinary Nurse, and she would be happy to give any information needed to anyone seriously interested in Sprite.
